How to use the database table

The table first loads up in alphabetical order, but can be changed by clicking the little arrows that appear next to the headings. There is also a customizable search bar in the top right corner so you can search by the appropriate column.

How to Read an Individual’s Burial Plot

The First number represents the name of the cemetery
The Second number represents the part of the cemetery

  1. East (Catholic Side)
  2. West (Protestant Side)
  3. Potter’s Field (West)
  4. No Burial Record on File
  5. Potter’s Field (East)
  6. Columbarium

The Third number represents the number of the block
The Fourth number represents the lot number on the above block
The Fifth number represents the list of burials on the lot
The Sixth number represents additional info

Example :
1-1-001-001-01-W 1 = Negaunee Cemetery
1= East Side
001 = Block 1
001 = Lot 1
01 = Burial 1
W  = West Side of Lot
